Two sons allegedly hired a neighbor and a police constable to murder their father over a property dispute in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Police in Uttar Pradesh say the December 26, 2025, murder of retired Indian Air Force officer Yogesh Kumar, 58, in Ghaziabad was orchestrated by his sons, who hired a neighbor, Arvind, to kill him over a property dispute. Arvind, who confessed and was arrested, used a .315 bore pistol to shoot Kumar near his home, with help from Naveen, a police constable and Arvind’s brother-in-law. The constable and the two sons remain at large. Authorities recovered weapons and used CCTV to trace the attackers.
