The Ladakh administration has declared Ranveer Singh’s film *Dhurandhar* tax-free, citing its extensive filming in the region and its role in showcasing Ladakh’s landscapes. Released on December 5, 2025, the spy thriller has become a box-office record-breaker, becoming the first Hindi film to earn ₹100 crore in its fourth week and the only one to gross double-digit collections for 28 consecutive days. It has earned ₹784.50 crore domestically and over ₹1,100 crore worldwide, surpassing major releases. The move, announced by Lt. Governor Kavinder Gupta, supports Ladakh’s new Film Policy aimed at boosting film production and tourism.
