Indian MP urges action against AI misuse on X’s Grok, citing non-consensual deepfake images of women.

Indian MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has urged IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to act against the alleged misuse of X’s Grok AI feature to generate explicit, non-consensual images of women. She reported that fake accounts are uploading women’s photos and using AI to sexually objectify or undress them, violating privacy and dignity. Chaturvedi called the practice a serious breach of rights, labeled it criminal, and demanded stronger safeguards, regulatory intervention, and accountability from tech platforms to protect women online.
