Founder Deepinder Goyal said operations ran smoothly with over 4.5 lakh delivery partners, crediting law enforcement and standard New Year’s Eve incentives—around ₹120–150 per order—without additional payouts. The platforms served more than 63 lakh customers, marking the busiest day of the year, while workers protested ongoing labor concerns.
