A 20-year-old man, Keven L. Washington, was charged with second-degree murder in the December 1, 2025, shooting death of Michael Allen, 18, following a crash on Clyde Fant Parkway in Shreveport.
Police responded at 7:19 p.m. to a light blue vehicle crash, finding Allen with multiple gunshot wounds; he died at a hospital.
The fleeing driver, also injured, was treated for non-life-threatening wounds.
Washington, previously arrested on December 11 on an unrelated firearms charge, was linked to the incident through investigation and arrested on December 29.
The case remains active, and authorities are seeking witnesses.
