Patriots coach Mike Vrabel says team remains focused despite Stefon Diggs and Christian Barmore facing criminal charges.
Before the team's Week 18 matchup with the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel expressed his continued confidence that criminal accusations against defensive lineman Christian Barmore and wide receiver Stefon Diggs won't cause any problems for the team.
Barmore is accused of misdemeanor domestic assault and battery following an August incident, while Diggs is charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault related to a disagreement with his former chef.
While the NFL considers the cases in accordance with its Personal Conduct Policy, both players are still eligible to play and may be added to the Commissioner Exempt List.
Vrabel highlighted the team's emphasis on football, pointing out that Diggs showed up for practice while Barmore was ill and missed it.
With a victory and a Broncos loss or tie, the 13-3 Patriots, who have won the AFC East for the first time since 2019, could secure the top playoff seed.
