James Price, 57, was sentenced at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court for driving a Ford Transit Tipper above the legal alcohol limit, without insurance or a licence, and failing to stop police.

He was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £466, ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £186 victim surcharge, and offered a drink-driving rehabilitation course.
