Gombe State approved N5 billion for a regional airline and funds for exams and compensation.

Gombe State has approved N5 billion toward a regional airline being developed by six north-east Nigerian states, with each contributing equally. The project aims to improve air connectivity and economic growth. The state also approved N321 million in compensation for property owners affected by infrastructure projects and N661.5 million for senior secondary exam fees for 23,873 students. The decisions were made during the 51st State Executive Council meeting.
