A former Maine employee sues over alleged stalking, hacking, and retaliation by a former official and supervisors.
Danielle Beauchemin, a former Kennebec County employee, has filed a federal lawsuit alleging former EMA director Arthur True accessed her work computer and private Google accounts, downloading over 100 nude photos from her "Naked and Afraid" appearances, installed hidden cameras in her office, and stalked her.
She claims supervisors ignored her reports and retaliated after she involved police, including revoking her service dog’s access and terminating her.
True was charged in 2024 with stalking and computer privacy crimes, pleaded not guilty, and faces a 2026 court date.
The lawsuit also names several county officials, alleging they enabled the misconduct and retaliation.
