Waltham Forest College has launched a government-funded Entry to Social Care Level 2 Skills Bootcamp, offering a three-week full-time programme starting in January 2026 to train adults for careers in social care.
The course, in partnership with the Department for Education, Skills for Life, and the Mayor of London, provides practical skills, professional development, and guaranteed employer interviews for successful graduates.
It aims to address a projected 27% growth in the UK’s adult social care workforce by 2040.
The programme supports career entry or re-entry, with inclusive instruction and confidence-building components, and is available in January, February, and March 2026.
