Temple Terrace will gain three new burger restaurants in early 2026: Culver's, Cook Out, and Haddaburger. Culver's opens at 5880 E. Fowler Ave. in the former Wells Fargo building, bringing its signature butter-basted burgers and drive-thru, with city approval expected after a January 6 review. Cook Out is constructing a location at 56th Street and East Fowler Avenue, replacing the vacant Boston Market site, and will serve chargrilled burgers and shakes. Haddaburger will open at 8932 Bertha Palmer Blvd., replacing Abbott's Custard, offering halal-certified smash burgers, fries, and shakes in a 24-seat space. All three openings require no zoning changes and mark a significant expansion of dining options in the area.
