A Georgia data center project expanded to 2.15 million sq ft near military cyber hub.
A data center project in Augusta, Georgia, has doubled in size to 2.15 million square feet, with new plans for six two-story buildings.
Originally proposed in 2022 by T5 Data Centers, the project was acquired by Eagle South LLC in June 2024 and reimagined.
The expansion, near Fort Gordon and the Army’s Cyber Command, reflects rising demand for data infrastructure in the region.
The revised plan was presented to the Augusta Planning Commission on June 3, 2024.
