A 20-year-old man was arrested after a high-speed chase in Quincy following a report of reckless driving.

A 20-year-old Quincy man, Raymundo Villalobos Chavarin, was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase on Sunday, December 29, 2025, following a report of a dark sports car speeding over 90 mph on SR-28. Authorities found a black 2011 Jaguar XF at a gas station with mismatched license plates, prompting a pursuit that ended when the vehicle broke down. Chavarin faces multiple charges, including felony eluding, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, and DUI. No injuries were reported.
