Nebraska senior safety DeShon Singleton will miss the Las Vegas Bowl due to injury, ending his college career, according to interim defensive coordinator Phil Snow. Singleton, a team captain who started all 12 games this season, recorded 70 tackles, six passes defensed, two interceptions, and a sack. He earned an extra year of eligibility through an NCAA exemption after playing at Hutchinson Community College. Nebraska will face No. 15 Utah on Wednesday, December 31, at 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
