Michał Kiciński, co-founder of CD Projekt and GOG, has acquired full ownership of the DRM-free game platform GOG for approximately $25 million, reaffirming its mission to preserve classic games and ensure long-term accessibility.
The transaction, which does not involve his CD Projekt shares, maintains GOG’s current operations, values, and user experience, including DRM-free access, offline play, and continued distribution of upcoming CD Projekt titles.
