Veteran NSW teacher Kerri-Anne Hubble retires after 50 years, including principalship at Dungowan Public School since 2019.
Kerri-Anne Hubble, a veteran educator with nearly 50 years in regional New South Wales schools, has retired after serving as principal at Dungowan Public School since 2019. Beginning her career in 1982 at Moree East, she taught across the region, raised her three children in Woolomin—some of whom she taught—and embraced evolving educational practices like inquiry-based learning and STEM integration. Though she admits to being less comfortable with modern technology, she adapted throughout her career. Now retired, she plans to build a container home with her husband, travel to Uluru and Italy, and occasionally assist schools on a casual basis.
