Left-arm spinner Shams Mulani took his first List A five-wicket haul (5-31) as Mumbai defeated Chhattisgarh by nine wickets in the Vijay Hazare Trophy at Jaipur. Chhattisgarh were bowled out for 143, with Amandeep Khare scoring 63 and Ajay Mandal 46, but Mulani broke their crucial partnership and triggered a collapse. Mumbai chased 144 with ease, thanks to an unbeaten 68 off 66 balls from concussed opener Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who returned after medical clearance, and 48 not out from Siddhesh Lad. The pair added 93 for the second wicket, and Mumbai reached the target in 24 overs.
