Kerri-Anne Hubble, a New South Wales educator with nearly 50 years of experience, has retired after serving as principal at Dungowan Public School since 2019.
She began teaching in 1982 in Moree, later raising her three children in Woolomin—some of whom she taught—and returning to regional education in 2015.
She found her time at Dungowan the most fulfilling, valuing strong community ties and evolving teaching methods like inquiry-based learning and STEM integration.
Though not tech-savvy, she embraced educational changes.
Now retired, she plans to build a container home, travel to Uluru and Italy, and occasionally assist schools.
