Ghana’s traders demand transparency over new digital customs deal with unproven company, fearing cost shifts and lack of need.
Ghana’s Traders Advocacy Group (TAGG) is demanding transparency after Parliament approved a digital customs system deal between the Ghana Revenue Authority and TRUEDARE Investments Limited, a newly formed Cyprus-based company with no proven track record in customs technology.
