Fanny Biascamano, France’s Eurovision 1997 representative, has died at 46 after a cancer battle. She rose to fame at 12 with a hit cover of Édith Piaf’s “L’Homme à la moto,” selling over 3 million copies. She competed in the 1997 contest with “Sentiments songes,” finishing seventh with 95 points. After Eurovision, she toured globally, focused on Piaf’s music, and later wrote three books, including two on Southern French cuisine. Her family confirmed her passing on December 27, 2025.
