Delhi High Court blocks 18 entities using Akasa Air’s trademarks in job scams.
The Delhi High Court has issued an interim injunction against 18 entities, including Alaska Aviation Academy, blocking their use of Akasa Air’s trademarks to conduct recruitment scams.
The order, led by Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora, comes after SNV Aviation, operator of Akasa Air, filed a lawsuit alleging fraud, trademark infringement, and unfair competition.
The court found a prima facie case, noting scammers used deceptive names like "AKASHA" and "AKAASA" to falsely promise jobs and collect process fees.
The ruling mandates domain registrars, telecom providers, and banks to block infringing websites, phone numbers, and bank accounts, with compliance required within a week.
Further hearings are set for February 3 and May 22, 2026.
