Thieves stole $100,000 in rare Pokémon cards from a Georgia store on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Eve, thieves broke into Tag Collects, a Carrollton, Georgia, collectibles store, stealing $100,000 in rare Pokémon cards and trading game products. Surveillance footage shows the suspect used a tow hitch ball to force the door and spent about a minute breaking into a display case, targeting high-value items like Moon Brion and Gold Star Rayquaza cards. The co-owner, Tommy Brown, said the stolen inventory, mostly acquired over three years with personal funds, included irreplaceable pieces. The store, open only two months, is temporarily closed but plans to reopen by December 31 with enhanced security. Authorities are investigating, suspecting the thief may have prior knowledge of the store, and an online fundraiser has been launched to cover losses.
