MQM-P leader Mustafa Kamal accused founder Altaf Hussain of ordering the 2010 London murder of Dr. Imran Farooq, claiming Hussain was drunk, celebrated the killing, and misused funds.
MQM-P leader Mustafa Kamal accused MQM founder Altaf Hussain of ordering the 2010 murder of party figure Dr. Imran Farooq, claiming Hussain directed the killing while intoxicated and celebrated it on his birthday.
Kamal alleged Hussain exploited the tragedy for fundraising and publicity, mismanaged millions raised for repatriating Farooq’s body, and obstructed a Scotland Yard investigation.
He denounced Hussain as a traitor and criminal, citing decades of damage to Karachi’s stability and the Muhajir community.
Kamal urged Farooq’s children to pursue legal action and said they were hidden for 15 days post-murder.
The murder occurred outside an MQM office in London, and Scotland Yard convicted several MQM members, but higher-level involvement remains disputed.
