A Missouri man was charged with stabbing another during a Christmas Eve hotel disturbance in Burr Ridge.
A 40-year-old Missouri man, Uberclein Vazquez Villareal, was charged with armed violence and two counts of aggravated battery after allegedly stabbing another man multiple times during a Christmas Eve celebration at an Extended Stay America hotel in Burr Ridge.
Authorities responded to a disturbance at 2:25 a.m., finding Villareal in a hallway with blood on his hands and the victim unresponsive in a third-floor room with stab wounds to the chest and torso.
The victim was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
Prosecutors said the incident occurred after Villareal began harassing the victim while he slept, following the departure of a third man to take a phone call.
Villareal was denied pretrial release and is scheduled to appear in court on January 20.
