The incident, captured on video, raised security concerns despite the Secret Service stating all guests were screened.
Critics, including former FBI official Chris Swecker, called it a serious lapse, citing proximity of protesters and prior security issues, including a man with a firearm at Trump’s Virginia golf club.
The Secret Service declined to comment on the lawsuit, maintaining that multiple security layers were in place and no weapons were near the president during any incident.
