China’s United Aircraft unveiled the Lanying R6000, a 6-ton tiltrotor unmanned aerial vehicle, which successfully completed its maiden flight on December 28, 2025, in Deyang, Sichuan.
The aircraft, powered by China’s AES100 engine, can cruise at 550 km/h, travel up to 4,000 km, and operate at altitudes of 7,620 meters with a 2,000 kg payload.
Designed for vertical takeoff and high-speed flight, it features folding wings and retractable blades for compact storage.
