IndiGo has issued a travel advisory for Mumbai’s Terminal 2 due to a temporary baggage belt malfunction, causing potential delays in check-in and baggage collection.
The airline is working with airport authorities to resolve the issue and minimize disruptions.
Earlier, delays were reported in Bangalore due to fog, and warnings were issued for several other airports.
Despite these challenges, IndiGo continues to operate 2,100–2,200 flights daily across 138 destinations with strong on-time performance.
The airline also confirmed preparations for the launch of India’s first Airbus A321XLR, which will begin long-haul service from Delhi and Mumbai to Athens on January 23, 2026.
