flag A Florida man was charged with DUI manslaughter after a crash he caused killed two and injured one.

A 50-year-old Groveland man, Seenarine Hardeo, was arrested and charged with two counts of DUI manslaughter after a three-vehicle crash on State Road 33 in Lake County killed two people and injured one. Authorities say Hardeo, driving a 2009 Mini Cooper, crossed into oncoming traffic, striking a semi-truck, which then collided with a 2006 Chevy Silverado, causing it to overturn. The 22-year-old Silverado driver and 18-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Hardeo, who has prior DUI convictions, was booked into Lake County Jail without bond and is scheduled for arraignment on January 20. The crash remains under investigation.
