Singapore's industrial output rose 14.3% year-on-year in November 2025, slowing from October’s 28.9% surge, driven by a 79.3% jump in biomedical manufacturing, led by pharmaceuticals.
Excluding that sector, growth was just 4.6%, down from 15.5%.
Other sectors saw mixed results: transport engineering rose 24.2%, electronics 8.9%, precision engineering 2.4%, and chemicals 2.2%, while general manufacturing fell 4.8%.
On a monthly basis, output dropped 10.2%, reversing October’s gain.
The data shows continued expansion but weakening momentum.
