The aircraft had made a precautionary landing in Burkina Faso on December 8 due to technical issues, prompting diplomatic discussions between Nigeria and Burkina Faso’s junta.
A Nigerian delegation, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, resolved the situation, allowing the aircraft to proceed via Banjul and Casablanca.
All 11 crew members are safe and in good spirits, with the NAF crediting host nations for cooperation and affirming adherence to aviation safety protocols.
