India has launched its first centralized database tracking lost, stolen, or recovered government firearms, developed by the NIA under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Unveiled by Home Minister Amit Shah at the Anti-Terror Conference-2025, the digital system enables real-time data sharing across all states, Union Territories, and security forces, including in conflict-affected regions.
