A Morganton man, Edgar Tomas, 33, was arrested after a crash and fleeing, with a blood alcohol level over three times the legal limit; he faces multiple charges including DUI and hit and run. A Hickory woman, Jennifer Stiltner, 43, was arrested for a hit and run and driving without a license. In separate incidents, Eddie Riviera, 43, was jailed for allegedly stealing a vehicle, Logan Whisnant, 32, was arrested in connection with a break-in, and Haley Banner, 36, was charged with meth possession. All suspects are awaiting court dates in their respective jurisdictions.
