A Colorado man was arrested in North Dakota after a Christmas Eve chase involving theft, assault, and a crash.

A 35-year-old man from Boulder, Colorado, Dennis Jones, was arrested on Christmas Eve after allegedly assaulting someone, stealing a vehicle, and fleeing police in West Fargo, North Dakota. Officers responded to a disturbance report around 7:14 p.m. and pursued the suspect, who crashed the vehicle into a tree and a home near Kensington Drive and Hidden Circle, causing minimal damage. Jones was hospitalized with injuries and later charged with felony fleeing, vehicle theft, driving under suspension, violating a protection order, and domestic violence assault. The stolen car was impounded. The incident occurred on December 25, 2025.
