The Colorado Rockies have finalized their 2026 coaching staff, retaining third base coach Andy Gonzalez and assistant hitting coach Jordan Pacheco after a season of major changes.
Manager Warren Schaeffer, hired in May after Bud Black’s firing, was kept, and new hires include Alon Leichman as pitching coach, Brett Pill as hitting coach, and Jeff Pickler as bench coach.
Ron Gideon, a 30-year Rockies veteran, was reassigned to assistant bench coach, leaving the first base coach role open.
The moves follow the November hiring of Paul DePodesta as president of baseball operations.
