NSW police arrested a 57-year-old Hells Angels sergeant-at-arms at Sydney Airport on December 24, 2025, for allegedly breaching public safety orders following a disputed clubhouse takeover in Maitland.
The arrest is part of Strike Force Benson, launched in August over rising tensions with the Gladiators gang.
Authorities had issued 27 safety orders and 30+ consorting warnings, which were allegedly ignored during national rides and the Hells Angels’ 50th anniversary events across multiple states.
Twelve people have been charged, and the man was granted strict conditional bail to appear in February.
The investigation remains ongoing.
