A 34-year-old man from Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, has been charged with multiple weapons-related offences, including possession of two homemade bombs, following a search of his home and truck.
The investigation began after he was shot with a rubber bullet by a 42-year-old man with an outstanding warrant and suspected illegal firearms.
Authorities seized ammunition, prohibited devices, gun parts, imitation guns, a shotgun, and explosive devices.
He faces over two dozen charges, including assault with a weapon and pointing a firearm, and has been released on conditions ahead of a court appearance in Annapolis Royal.
