The Economic Offences Wing in Srinagar has filed a chargesheet against Fouzia Afzal, a former government employee, in a scam involving fake job and land allotments. She allegedly issued forged documents using fake signatures and seals of high-ranking officials, targeting unemployed youth and poor families. The case, based on a formal complaint, led to her suspension and a recommendation for premature retirement. The chargesheet, citing multiple IPC sections, is now before a Srinagar court for trial.
