Colts CB Sauce Gardner missed practice with a calf injury, casting doubt on his Sunday debut against Jacksonville.
Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf) missed Wednesday’s practice, raising doubts about his availability for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He has been sidelined for three games with a calf strain since joining the team in a November trade from the New York Jets.
Gardner, a two-time Pro Bowler, has played in just three games with the Colts, recording 13 tackles and two pass breakups.
Several other Colts players also missed practice, including DeForest Buckner, Anthony Gould, and Anthony Richardson.
The team, now 8-7, has lost five straight and six of its last seven, with a loss to Jacksonville eliminating them from playoff contention.
