Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa began a month-long annual leave on December 23, 2025, with Vice Presidents Kembo Mohadi and Constantino Chiwenga rotating in acting leadership roles.
Mohadi served from December 23 to 31, followed by Chiwenga from January 1 to 13, with Mohadi resuming until Mnangagwa’s return in early February.
