Warm weather forced 2026 World Cup ski events from Utah to New York and New Hampshire, with refunds issued and return to Utah planned for 2027.
Due to unseasonably warm weather and insufficient snow, the 2026 moguls and aerials World Cup events originally set for Deer Valley, Utah, have been moved to Lake Placid, New York, and Waterville Valley, New Hampshire.
Aerials will be held January 11–12 with individual events replacing the team competition, while moguls and dual moguls will take place January 15–16.
U.S.
Ski & Snowboard cited athlete safety and competition quality as key reasons, ensuring Olympic qualification opportunities remain intact.
Ticket holders will be refunded, and events are set to return to Deer Valley in 2027.
