Türkiye will raise its national minimum wage by 27% for 2026, increasing the net monthly wage to 28,075 Turkish liras ($655), according to Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan.
The decision, made by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, comes amid 31.1% annual inflation and aims to preserve workers’ purchasing power.
The government also raised support payments for minimum wage workers from 1,000 to 1,270 liras.
