SNAP recipients in 19 Oregon counties affected by storms can report lost food and get replacements by Jan. 16.
Due to storms starting December 17, SNAP recipients in 19 Oregon counties have until January 16 to report lost food and request replacement benefits, extending the usual 10-day deadline.
Affected counties include Benton, Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Coos, Douglas, Hood River, Jefferson, Klamath, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Tillamook, Wallowa, Washington, and Yamhill.
Households can apply via phone, online, mail, in person, or email.
Approved replacements are added to EBT cards up to the monthly limit.
The standard 10-day rule applies to those outside the affected areas.
Additional support is available through Oregon Food Bank, 211, and the Aging and Disability Resource Connection.
