A New Hampshire man faces felony charges for allegedly threatening Governor Ayotte with explosives via Snapchat.
A 22-year-old Hooksett man, Tristan Anderson, has been indicted on Class A and B felony charges for allegedly threatening to harm New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte with explosives in August.
Prosecutors say he shared plans via Snapchat to use a "weapon of mass destruction," including materials for pipe bombs, and made anti-Semitic remarks.
He is accused of attempting to harm a government official, attempting to place explosives, and threatening a public official.
Anderson has been held in preventive detention since his September arrest and is scheduled for a dispositional conference on January 8, 2026.
