Zoox recalls 332 self-driving cars over software flaw risking crashes; no injuries reported.
Amazon’s self-driving unit Zoox is recalling 332 vehicles in the U.S. due to a software flaw that may cause them to cross yellow center lines or stop abruptly in front of oncoming traffic, increasing crash risks, according to the NHTSA.
The issue affects vehicles with software released before December 19 and is being addressed with a free software update.
No injuries have been reported.
This follows a prior recall in May and comes as Zoox continues testing autonomous vehicles.
