Seattle Kraken defenseman Brandon Montour will miss at least four weeks after hand surgery, the team announced. The 31-year-old, who has six goals and 10 assists in 27 games this season, was injured during a December 16 incident with the Colorado Avalanche and did not return to that game. He was scratched from the last two contests. Montour, a Stanley Cup champion with Florida in 2023-24, recorded a career-high 18 goals in his first season with Seattle.
