Red Metal is advancing heap-leach testing at its Sybella rare earths project in Queensland, which holds an estimated 4.8 billion tonnes of ore with 302 ppm neodymium and praseodymium, plus 28 ppm dysprosium and terbium. The company aims to achieve low-cost, long-term production of critical rare earths for high-performance magnets. Column leach results are expected soon, with pre-feasibility studies planned for 2026. The project could strengthen Australia’s rare earth supply chain and reduce dependence on foreign sources, supporting domestic clean energy and technology industries.
