Montana awarded grants to nonprofits to fulfill wishes for children with serious illnesses.

On December 22, 2025, Montana awarded grants from the Chrome for Kids Wish Fund to Cancer Support Community Montana and the Montana Hope Project. The fund, created by the state legislature and funded by a $20 fee on motorcycle and quadricycle registrations, supports programs that help fulfill wishes for children with serious or chronic illnesses. Attorney General Austin Knudsen commended the initiative as a sign of Montanans’ generosity, while nonprofit leaders noted the funding reduces financial barriers to making children’s dreams come true.
