LG Display unveils 27-inch 4K OLED monitor with 240Hz, RGB stripe, and DFR tech for gaming and pro use.
LG Display has introduced the world’s first 27-inch 4K OLED monitor panel with an RGB stripe subpixel layout and a 240Hz refresh rate, set for debut at CES 2026. The panel uses a straight-line red, green, and blue subpixel arrangement to reduce color bleeding and enhance clarity, especially at close range. Leveraging Dynamic Frequency & Resolution (DFR) technology, it supports seamless switching between UHD 240Hz and FHD 480Hz modes, overcoming previous limitations of RGB stripe OLEDs. With 160 ppi, high color accuracy, and improved light efficiency via better aperture ratio, the panel targets high-end gaming and professional use. LG Display aims to produce about 30% of global OLED monitor panels and strengthen its leadership in premium segments.
