Andhra Pradesh plans to make Amaravati a top-five global quantum computing hub by 2030 with its Quantum Valley initiative.
On December 23, 2025, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu unveiled a plan to make Amaravati a global quantum computing hub, aiming to rank among the world’s top five.
The initiative, called Quantum Valley, focuses on building a full domestic supply chain, advancing research, fostering startups, and integrating quantum tech into healthcare, agriculture, and smart cities.
It includes launching the world’s largest quantum workforce program and strengthening education and innovation.
The state also highlighted its growing tech infrastructure, including data centers in Visakhapatnam and industrial corridors, as part of a broader strategy to boost India’s presence in emerging digital technologies.
