Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal visited Dansadau town for the first time in over two decades, inspecting the Gusau–Dansadau Road construction and approving a new road to Nasarawa.
He confirmed the contract for the new road had been awarded and settled, with work set to begin soon, citing improved access as key for security and emergency response.
The governor also pledged to install solar power in the area.
The Emir of Dansadau presented a 10-page report on community grievances and conferred the title Garkuwan Dansadau on Lawal, while the First Lady received the title Yar Gojen Dansadau for her humanitarian work.
The visit highlighted the state’s development push under the Zamfara Rescue Mission.
